How to cover protein plant-based.

Hey beautiful being,

in this post I would love to share with you

  • what protein is all about

  • why it is essential for our bodies

  • and how to easily cover your protein intake plant-based

Protein is a constellation of more than 100 amino acids.

🌿Protein constellations carrying genetic information of all beings on the earth, the “molecule of life” is called Deoxyribonucleic acid (short DNA)

🌿Protein is protecting our cells and cell membran, which e.g. provides our body with it’s firmness and holds everything together

🌿Our muscles (biggest protein memory), hair, skin, tendon, tapes and nails are all created from protein and couldn’t exist without it.

🌿Protein repairs and regenerates broken fabric like micro injuries in our muscles or heart-muscles as well as repairing nerve cell injuries in our brain.

🌿Our immune system fights viruses, bacteria and fungi with protein

🌿Proteins transport important substances through the body (e.g. haemoglobin / red blood color carries oxygen the the cells)

🌿Hormones are built out of protein

🌿Without protein metabolism is not possible

🌿Protein delivers energy (protein can be transformed to glucose, which provides energy for the body)

FUNCTION

In short:

  • important antioxidant

  • carrier or DNA

  • strengthening body cells

  • building material for muscle, hormones and enzymes

DAILY NEED 0,8g per kg

Plants contain all amino acids/proteins the body needs BUT not one plant will carry all of them at once. So eat them all, mix it up and see that you get a variety in to your system.

How do you like to consume those protein-rich foods? I would love to know!

I love to have all these in smoothies, eat a dhal/curry with legumes or sprinckle some sprouts over my food 🐌🌞🌱

I hope this was of service for you.
